Mike Aldrich wanted to do something in tribute -- anything -- when he heard last year that 21-year-old Marine Lance Cpl. Randy Newman has been killed in Iraq.

But Aldrich's method of honoring the fallen soldier has raised a few eyebrows. He wanted to make a calendar, he said, something the troops overseas could keep, something Newman would have liked.

So he called Newman's parents, and asked "what their son would like to see in a calendar," Aldrich remembers. "They said pretty women and big cars."
